House of Gjurchinovi, Ohrid, Macedonia

"House of Gjurchinovi" - an old traditional house in the city of Ohrid declared as cultural heritage of Macedonia.

The house is located at the beginning of the promenade "Kej Makedonija". It was built in 1930 by the engineer Georgi Gjurchinov, its owner. It is characterized by strict symmetry and richly decorated with neoclassical and non-Baroque elements on the southwest facade facing the promenade. Traditional architectural tendencies, as well as personal design elements, have been added to the European styles.

On December 11, 1989, the house was declared a cultural monument.
