The role:
As the Lead Web Designer, you'll lead the development of our brand identity and design system, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand values. You'll oversee website enhancements, focusing on improving user experience and visual appeal. With your hands-on expertise in visual and UX design, you’ll be instrumental in creating captivating user experiences.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and evolve the overall brand identity, including the brand playbook and visual brand style and processes.
Design exceptional web experiences from start to finish, participating in all design phases, from definition to development and optimization.
Collaborate with the Growth Marketer and Data Analyst to enhance designs through A/B testing, improving conversion rates.
Assist with establishing brand design standards, maintain consistency, and ensure high-quality deliverables across departments.
Work closely with web developers to bring designs to life.
Provide creative direction for design projects, ensuring alignment with Vaadin's brand values and target audiences.
Own the Vaadin brand identity's visual communication, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
Drive continuous improvement of the company website, leveraging data and user feedback to enhance user experience and achieve business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a consistent tone, identity, and creative strategy across all touchpoints.
What you bring to the table:
Over 10 years of experience in designing customer journeys for SaaS websites and developing branding for B2B companies.
Expert proficiency in Figma, with familiarity in the HubSpot website builder, and a solid understanding of web development technologies.
Solid understanding of web design principles, UX/UI design, and rapid iterative design processes.
Experience working with user journeys, leading experience-focused brands, and B2B SaaS products.
Proven track record of creating visually appealing, cohesive, and impactful designs with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, creativity, and communication skills.
Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated experience in managing and coaching designers.
A Bachelor's degree in design, visual communications, or related field preferred.

Our offices are located in Turku, Finland, and Berlin, Germany, but remote work within European time zones or US East Coast time zones is also welcomed. Our company language is English.
