Freelance UI Designer for Environmentally Friendly Plastic Recycling Company

Location: Remote (Preferably in Houston, TX)

LaPraim, as a technology partner, collaborates with organizations to craft and implement innovative tech solutions. This project is on behalf of our client, an eco-conscious plastic recycling company.

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented freelance UI designer to collaborate with our team in creating a visually stunning website for our plastic recycling company. The website will consist of 17 pages, with 11 template-based pages for a range of services and 5 to 7 uniquely themed pages.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the internal team to understand project requirements and objectives.

• Create high-fidelity mockups based on wireframes and content provided for each page.

• Design variations of template-based pages to maintain consistency across the website.

• Ensure the design aligns with the company's branding and promotes environmental sustainability.

• Participate in two client-facing video conferences and 3 to 5 internal design meetings.

• Incorporate feedback and revisions as needed to meet project goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UI designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.

• Excellent understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

• Availability for client meetings and internal design sessions.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with environmentally focused or sustainability-oriented companies.

• Familiarity with front-end development principles and technologies.
