illustrator

As We2 Design Studio, we produce various communication materials for international humanitarian non-governmental organizations. As part of our work, we use illustrations in report covers and contents with concepts related to the humanitarian work. These illustrations usually cover our clients' works such as mental health and psycho-social services, displacement issues, natural disasters, disabilities, social inclusion, political issues, etc. As the illustrations mostly focus on the work of NGOs in the field, they often also focus on abstract concepts in which we need to visualize concepts such as displacement, home, obstacles facing refugees and returnees, primary needs etc.

In addition to these, some of the reports that we work with include statistical data and info-graphics on various topics and geographies, and in those case we need to also visualize data in creative ways in the report covers.

For our ongoing project, we need Illustrators who can work on aforementioned concepts and who have experience working with different styles. In our work process we first ask illustrators to send us relevant sketches and to develop concepts depending on the content of reports. Then we go through these works with our clients to determine how to proceed to finalize the work with their feedback.

We are in an immediate need of illustrators that can work in our ongoing projects and we would be happy to send you briefs immediately. We kindly ask you to submit samples of your past work in your application. Applications without samples or cover letters will not be considered.
