Honey bee

There are several hundred different types of bee in the UK, seven of which are classified as critically endangered, a further 46 are endangered. Honey bees are responsible for a third of crop pollination and very small proportion of wild plant pollinations. Essentially if all bees went extinct it would have an enormous impact on global food supplies. So they’re worth worrying about. Habitat destruction and exposure to pesticides is key cause of species decline. Want to do something? Avoid using glyophosate sprays - weed killers like Roundup.
