My intention is to minimize the time to get to listening to the music and serve it to the user right away. At the same time, utilizing side menu, instead of the current one which is kind of weird (http://cl.ly/OttF), would allow for a better navigation throughout the app.

I'm rather new when it comes to iOS apps, so I would greatly appreciate your feedback on this one :)
