Níðhöggr | Нидхёгг

Nidhogg is the serpent who gnaws at a root of the world tree Yggdrasil. It was interesting to find out that the role of this serpent in Ragnarök is not clear. It may be seen not only as a villain, or sign of the end of the World but also as a symbol of change and renewal. It’s not canon, it’s the human and female version of the character. This work is created for Character Design Challenge. The theme for March was Norse Mythology.
