UK Wildcat Update concept

I love #sportslogodesgn and analyize it a lot. Sometimes I wonder if a simple update / modernization of a given mascot is a nice middle ground for pleasing #sportsfans as they often are resistant change. Sometimes an overhaul is not always needed! Either way, in thinking through this I have had fun through the years just updating line work of a few mascots I know have a strong following but feel dated. Recently I had fun just redrawing and simplifying the line work of the UK Wildcats. I tried to stay true to the shapes and line positions of the original as possible. If I wanted to spend more time on this I’d probably simplify it even more in final execution. #fanart #conceptdesign #ukwilcats
