Binz - recycling app

I had a chance to attend Infinum design academy for 8 intense weeks.

Each participant worked on an IoT-related application concept, and mine was a garbage bin for sorting and managing garbage -Binz.

I tried to make the process of recycling fun and engaging for users. Each of the Binz is colour-coded for the specific type of garbage (plastic, paper…).

Binz will assist you with all the questions about recycling, and you can follow your progression of recycling by setting goals. It will alert you when to take out the garbage, you can compress and open the bin from the app, scan the product…
