Future Criminal

I was asked by the guys at Playing Arts to create an interpretation of the future - 100 years from now.

It would have been far too easy to fall down the rabbit hole of showing a futuristic landscape or people flying through the air with jet-packs, etc... but this just didn't feel right. I wanted to look deeper into a theme that is currently quite prevalent, our justice system and how criminals are portrayed.

There's no start, or end - just the representation of the time in the future.

Narrative
The underworld of the future won’t be as gritty or dark as we think - but more pastel, pinks and permissive. I wanted to portray a career criminal of the future, meet Tressa. When she’s not jacking precious data from fortune 500s or crashing banks for crypto, she’ll be cruising the deep-dark-web for macabre trinkets that hold the spark of human life.
