Maine Original Flag License Plate

Based on the original Maine State Flag of 1901, this specialty plate design honors the simple and direct nature of the flag — the legislation describing the flag’s design says succinctly “buff charged with the emblem of the State, a pine tree proper in the center and the polar star (a mullet of five points), in blue in the upper corner.”

Maine has a rich history of specialty plates, and it would be my honor to add the Maine flag plate to that roster. With some luck (and $50,000 from 2,000 supporters*) I will make it so. Let me know if you’d like to help make this a reality!
