3 years at SellerCrowd πŸŽ‰

I worked with local companies here in India for the most part but was always interested in working with a remote company. The idea came from the book The 4 Hour Workweek, which I read in college. After working with 3 companies in India as a Product designer, I finally decided to work with a remote company for a change. And this idea of jumping the ship to a remote company has been one of the best decisions of my life. πŸ’―

In Jan 2018, I joined this small remote company called SellerCrowd which is a platform where media sellers gather and exchange insights anonymously so they can navigate their sales strategy better and hit sales goals faster. 🀝

I was hired to a complete re-design of the product as its design language was outdated and the team was restructuring the code too. So it was a perfect time to focus on designing the app from ground-up, ✨

This January 2021, we migrated all our users to the new site and I also completed 3 years with SellerCrowd. January is a good month for the company and me πŸ”₯

I am finally relieved yet excited to start sharing some of the design work that I've done over the years with SellerCrowd - starting with a glimpse of our landing page. πŸ‘€

🎒 Landing page story: The idea behind the new landing page was to keep it simple for people to signup and also giving them a gist of the product i.e. the conversation that media sellers do on our site.

Our product is pretty much like a Facebook, Twitter or any other social platform in terms of features. We design and built a feed, channels for different topics, profile page, gamification via points, billing flow, pricing page, settings page, DMs, search, filters and 100 other things in between. But we didn't want to bloat the landing page with all 100+ features of the product. We wanted it to communicate the most important thing that users use our product for i.e. authentic and accurate info about brands and agencies, and that's what we exactly did with the 80% of the landing page.

The feed section showcases few of the channels we have (among many) and lists all the posts created in those specific channels. We hide all the answers behind a signup wall as it's THE commodity users use the product for (among others).

Here's to sharing more work that I've done with SellerCrowd this year. πŸ₯‚
