Preliminary Branding Guidelines | Zette Media

In building out the preliminary branding for tech startup, Zette Media, I began with the client's initial color choice of mint green and reflected on the company's mission of making news media easily accessible in the modern age. After we landed on the choice of monochrome photo images with fun shapes and design accents, I made the color palette easy on the eyes digital viewers by using hues of green and black. The salmon would be used as a contrast color in a few select situations. Muli was chosen as it would be an easily sharable resource among teams, from UX to web dev, and was a good middle ground between traditional news media and tech branding.
