Revision3 Logo (2005)

Over the years, many people have asked me about the logo I use as my avatar.

It originated as the logo I designed for Revision3. My goal was to design a logo that could be animated. I also wanted to pay homage to TechTV, where I worked as an intern, and had recently been killed after merging with G4TV. You can see how the logo evokes the shapes in the TechTV logo in the attachment.

It makes an appearance on Diggnation Episode 1.

The logo I designed was used for a short period of time, before they transitioned to their current identity. I decided to reclaim it, drop the dot, and use it to represent R for Robert.
