Unique Just Like Everyone Else.

What a conundrum, right? The identity crisis.

I work on a lot of of brand identity projects outside of Red Halftone, and this is what comes to mind. I often feel I have to steer brands and companies out of this ditch. It’s our nature to want to be like what’s popular or trendy at the moment, but it’s always the wrong answer. They want to be unique… you know, just like so-and-so.

It’s also a common problem for designers, illustrator, even just people for that matter. It’s ironic. The only way to be unique is to look in, not out.
