Sloe gin labels

"The Elm" - Sloe gin

My dad is a traditional guy, he prepares the same liquor every year, and he often does it exactly the same way. He patiently searches for the perfect spot to pick the sloes (weather conditions have to be perfect, otherwise it might be difficult to find them). He tries to get the right amount very carefully because that plant is full of thorns. And, once he's at home, he washes all those berries and mixes them up with the rest of his secret ingredients.

So, this project is a step-by-step guide of the sloe gin-making process and a tribute to my dad <3 who received these labels as a gift for Secret Santa. By now you have probably guessed that, yes, the character of all these labels is him.

These illustrations may look familiar to you because, indeed, they were inspired by Cassandre's work (the french designer), in particular the Dubonnet vintage poster. I hope that you enjoyed the project :D
