Mac Processors Throughout the Years

For issue 1/2021 of the Apple-käyttäjät ry magazine (published by the Finnish Apple User Group), I created this cover art to commemorate the Mac transitioning from Intel processors to Apple Silicon. Pictured is one member from each major processor family: Motorola 68000, IBM PowerPC G5, Intel Core, and finally Apple M1. The floating M1 represents the Mac performance taking off in a big way.

Processors were modelled in Rhino and rendered in KeyShot. The background with wooden table and a classic iMac (Late 2006) is a real photograph I took for the purpose. Everything was brought together in Affinity Photo.
