A blogger is blogging

I spent last five days developing a new illustration style and trying a technique absolutely new for me.

I started with my usual drawing process — pencil sketches and basic brush lines afterwards. I didn't like the result.

Then I tried to find new forms and the coloring technique I was trying to nail since October. I liked the result a little more. But still the illustrations didn't look good enough.

So I decided to start over and try a technique that I have't used much before — drawing a silhouette first. And I loved the result! Finally, illustration looked certain, dynamic and clear.
