Duolingo Streak Widget

When widgets were added to iOS, we explored how to bring our beloved mascot to the home screen by giving him space to react to users' activity for the day. The idea was that he would become increasingly concerned until your streak is extended on a given day, with his expressions becoming more severe as the day rolls on. Once your streak is extended, his expression would become joyful.
