The Power of Food, Sangue na Guelra's Live Stream Symposium

In March 2020, the impact of the pandemic was felt worldwide in all sectors of the economy, especially at a social level. In response to the serious crisis experienced in the restaurants sector, Sangue na Guelra Symposium reinvented itself in a live streaming format that brought together, in its first edition, some of the biggest players in the world of restaurants to discuss The Power of Food. It was the first international live stream on gastronomy.

Communicating a symposium that was now moving from an onsite format to an online format was a huge challenge, also because we only had about a month to do it. The concept of the graphics came from the idea of giving the feeling that we were on the streets, the idea of moving from digital to analog, although all advertising was exclusively digital, on social networks. And at the time, these platforms were overcrowded, because we were all at home, with time...

It was essential to have eye-catching colors, but it wouldn't be enough to stand out in feeds overloaded with video. So then came the idea of the poster on the wall, combining a festival poster with an activist poster. At a time when we couldn't go out, the impact and feedback of this kind of images exceeded all our best expectations. The stream had over 10k live viewers, Youtube and Facebook combined.

The video is the result of the streaming and was edited by Flesh.

You can watch the full streaming videos here (may 4th) and here (may 5th).

All graphics (including streaming and final video) and concept are mine. I hope you enjoy!
