Retro Space Label Design

Inspired by old vintage space posters, I reimagined the Lean Mean Tangerine as a space craft zipping across the far reaches of outer space leaving a trail of tart orange colors behind it.

What are the black squares? Great question! I built this file in Illustrator then take it into Photoshop to apply some retro "aging" then place it back into Illustrator in my label. The black rectangles are the backgrounds for text boxes with recipe and legal information. I texture them alongside the artwork to give the label a cohesive feel.
