Hausa - Branding and eCommerce Design

Introduction

Hausa is a furniture supplier and distributor with the mission to make anybody’s house the best place it can be. With modern designs and affordable prices, Hausa makes sure it will provide something extraordinary for every house room.

We were assigned to create a positioning strategy, distinct brand identity and eCommerce website design.

Brand strategy

At Om, we create design that makes a difference. Every design solution is based on extensive research and a defined brand strategy.

For Hausa, our goal was to position it as the furniture supplier that can provide something great for every room of the house.

Based on our research and strategy, we’ve developed a strongly differentiated brand identity that provides Hausa with an easily distinguishable look and a professional feel that its customers would remember and trust.

Designing the identity

Based on Hausa’s mission to provide something extraordinary for every room of the house, we used the roof metaphor to encapsulate that statement visually. Minimalistic but distinct, we’ve used “the roof” in Hausa’s logo and the brand’s visual language.

eCommerce website

The goal for Hausa’s website was to maintain its modern, geometric look while designing each layout to help ease the user navigation and make the experience as user-friendly as possible.

The website’s goal is to provide clarity for Hausa’s variety of products and their specific categories, while making the potential customer's buying cycle a straightforward experience.

The website features a grid-based layout that provides structure to guide the user's sight, making the navigation simple while maintaining the brand's geometric look.

The result

Our work resulted in a polished visual identity and seamless digital experience that help their customers make the final decision easier.
