Holy Week / Palm Sunday (1/8)

(designed for 2022 holy week series) This was not a strong and steady stead but a young colt never ridden. To us, this doesn't seem to be an appropriate entry for the true and triumphant King. But, the crowds heard something different echoing off the city walls: "Look, your King is coming to you; he is righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey."

As the crowds burst into song, the colt's mother trotted along in step to soothe her colt's maiden voyage. Only a truly triumphant King could enter in such humility.
