Ascent Branding, Design and UX

As a woman-owned business, 11p dove headfirst into developing a brand, website, and collateral for SBA’s free learning platform geared towards helping female entrepreneurs gain useful tips and guidance on how to elevate and grow their business.

We developed everything from the name of the platform, the logo, color palette, brand guide, character library, infographics to support the content, and the entire UX/UI of the platform itself. 

Character Library

To support the learning platform, 11p illustrated an extensive character library. We designed a variety of features and styles to reflect the diverse female audience. Creating a custom library enhanced the workflow for our designers, so they could produce over 100 micro-learning tools in a short period of time!

UI and UX

The UI of the platform was created to comply with all 508 standards so that it is easily accessible to everyone. Throughout the UX process, we incorporated feedback from users, the goals of stakeholders, and sound design decisions involving small-business owners.

Women have a big impact on the U.S. economy. Forty-five percent of all businesses are women-owned (or men & women co-owned).

Infographics

11p produced many infographics for Ascent, which are great microlearning tools. They help female entrepreneurs with limited time quickly consume useful tips and data to support their business growth.
