Lotus Pattern

Lotus flower illustration, along with repeating pattern, commissioned for a new packaging project.

Detail of pattern, designed in the Damask style. My goal was to distribute the visual weight of the design evenly to reduce the overall contrast since the pattern will be used as a background element.

Placeholder pattern supplied by client shown on left. Updated pattern was designed to be more elegant and into showcase an etched style which supports their existing logo design.
