Branding for non-profit NAHst

Supporting non-profit NAHst by creating their brand from scratch

NAHst is a non-profit organisation for people who suffered brain damage. The aim of the organisation is to organise activities for - and with - people with non-congenital brain injuries. Especially for those who do not automatically come into contact with other people.

Role

Rick Bierman Designs created their style guide, logo, business cards, and website.

The Logo

The logo itself was made in Adobe Illustrator and contains the brain as its main point of focus. It forms a nice contrast against the green wordmark.

The Business cards

The business cards were designed in Adobe InDesign and printed on thick high-quality paper for all members of the organisation.

The website

The website has been custom coded using an HTML / CSS Framework. Accessibility was important during this development phase, since visually impaired people browse websites in a completely different way. A logical flow of elements on the page, along with a proper implementation of a speech function and great use of 'alt' tags were all crucial to providing an effective user experience.
