📜 The Dutchy of Saint Sava is an old name for the land I come from.

In the 15th century, the region was ruled by the Kosacha noble family.

⛪ One of its most prominent members, Stefan Vukchich, took on the German title of “Herzog” (Duke) calling himself "Herzeg of Saint Sava", after the first Serbian Archbishop - and the Dutchy of Saint Sava was born.

Stefan's title would later give the name to the present-day region of Herzegovina, the place most dear to my heart.
