AIEnhancer - Photo Editor App

I want to share my new project! I designed an application that uses artificial intelligence to enhance photo quality. The app provides features such as image enhancement, color restoration for old photos, coloring of black and white images, and photo resizing. Since we work with photos, I purposely gave more space for them to be the center of attention.

Onboarding

I made the onboarding interactive and added the ability to drag the button to demonstrate each feature of the app. This allows users to easily and quickly understand how the various functions of the app work, as well as making the familiarization process enjoyable and interesting.

Empty state

Of course, it is important to pay attention to empty state screens and the permission request process. Our task is to create a convenient and attractive interface that will encourage the user to grant access to their photos without hesitation.

Editing process

After selecting a photo, the user is taken to the editing screen, where they can see all available tools. For example, to improve the quality of the photo, the user can choose the "Enhance" function, and after that, an icon will appear at the top, indicating that this function will be applied to the photo. If the photo is black and white, the user can choose the "Colorise" function to make it colored. Once the user has selected all the necessary functions, they can press the "Start" button and get the final result: a colored photo with improved quality. I tried to create a design that would be as intuitive and convenient to use as possible so that users could easily achieve the desired result without unnecessary difficulties.

Save

Before saving, the user can preview the result and, if not satisfied with it, go back and adjust the photo. If the result is pleasing, the user can press the "Save" button and proceed to another screen where the photo is automatically saved on the phone. Naturally, we notify the user of the successful save and offer options for quick posting of the edited photo on social networks.
