Design Concepts for VR Science Academy
I used Midjourney at the start of the design process to generate the character designs for this project and then created the logos, icons and layouts in Adobe Illustrator.
Using AI was an interesting experiment for this project as it allowed me to rapidly iterate on colors and style with the client (who loved seeing MJ in action) and kept us under budget.
In the past I've had to rely on showing the work of other designers and illustrators to sell a client on an idea, but there was always that "it will sort of look like this factor". Using AI gave the client a greater understanding of what the final product would look like, reduced the revisions, and eliminated a lot of risk.
All of the final illustrations (not pictured) were re-interpreted from similarly generated images and reproduced to a high quality in Adobe Illustrator.
