This is the onboarding for my app called Bookmark. I designed Bookmark during my final year of university in May 2020 with the purpose of promoting reading habits and addressing low reading rates among UK adults. The app provides a user-friendly experience with the goal of increasing the number of people who read books.

Initial Designs

These are the initial designs I created, but in the final designs I made a lot of changes. Specifically, I completely overhauled the colour scheme to enhance accessibility and made necessary adjustments to the illustration style, which previously wasn't working.

Wireframes

After sketching several ideas, I used Adobe XD (before discovering Figma) to create these low fidelity designs. They served as a way to explore different layout options and gain a better understanding of the direction to pursue.
