Live Score App (Esports)

Problem Statement

Many esports live score apps in the market suffer from clutter and excessive complexity. Some other apps incorporate gamification elements, but do gamers truly want them? Not necessarily. What gamers truly desire is a seamless user experience that allows them to focus on scores, schedules, and stats without unnecessary distractions. Therefore, our approach to the app must prioritize simplicity, distilling it to its core essentials. We aim to create a product that appeals to esports enthusiasts, spanning multiple game titles while delivering a straightforward and efficient user experience.

Structure

As the gaming industry continually introduces new esports titles, it's crucial for us to keep up. Our objective is to develop an app that provides users with the essential tools to track their desired competitions without unnecessary gamification elements or odd features. We've designed a straightforward and familiar structure akin to traditional sports apps. Our aim is to ensure users can easily access their desired games within a few steps or even instantly.

Considering these criteria, we selected a game title to create a prototype that would pique our investors' interest. Our choice was League of Legends, given its immense popularity. By analyzing the game I compiled a set of unique indicators and generated wireframes in alignment with our pre-established structure.

Design System

Knowing what we need the next step is to refine our foundational elements. Given the project's size, establishing a comprehensive design system is essential. Leveraging Figma makes this process exceptionally straightforward. The design system should be applied consistently through½1out both the app and marketing materials.

With all the groundwork completed as outlined above, the process of generating all the necessary supporting materials for our product becomes straightforward. In just a brief hour, I can craft a simple promotional website to establish our business's legitimacy and provide our investors with a point of reference while the app is in development.
