Ui/Ux Practice

As a UI/UX Designer what I do all day?! 😀

Several completely different tasks within a day, from researching to prototyping a high-fidelity mockup.

Main UX Tasks - researching, ideating, designing, and communicating.

Research

Helps us to connect with our users to understand their needs and pain points. It ranges from evaluating competitors, reading research articles to understand user's problem, to conducting interviews and surveys. And it includes tons of qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Each stage of research helps us understand different aspects of the problem statement and to fine-tune the design.

Ideate

This is when we imagine potential solutions by using our research findings.

It starts from analysing the research results, understanding user's pain points, crafting user personas, brainstorming potential designs, to start sketching basic layouts and wireframes to get a general idea of the product.

Design

The big part of UX designer’s daily work! (depending up on the role in your company)

We refine the hand sketches and wireframes and create low fidelity and high fidelity prototyping, giving life to the application with the help of various tools like XD, Figma and Sketch.

One can say its both individual and collaborative since it involves giving, receiving, and acting on feedback from team members.

Communicate

Another huge part of a UX designer’s job!

We will be communicating with managers, developers, stakeholders, and even clients. Collecting the review/feedback from all of them will help us to cover all the edge cases in an application design, or to pitch in a new concept that will improve the user experience.

I hope this proves helpful! Thank you for reviewing my content. I would greatly appreciate your valuable feedback.
