Umbra Room

We present our largest 3D modeling project, a retro-illuminated futuristic room. It features over 50 objects that were modeled, textured, and rendered, all to bring to life an underground aesthetic that combines elements of post-cyberpunk with a retro touch, creating a truly unique visual experience.

The creation process began with room planning, essentially determining the placement of each object. Then, each object was modeled using 3DS Max. Once the geometry was complete, the texturing phase followed. Textures were created using Substance Painter. Rendering was done using the Arnold rendering engine and took approximately 12 hours per frame.

This project was created as a personal challenge to test our modeling and texturing skills. It was also an opportunity to explore the post-cyberpunk aesthetic and lighting management. We are extremely satisfied with the result and hope you find it interesting.
