Top 10 Albums of 2021
2021 was an intense year. A part of me keeps telling me I have lived the most beautiful, exciting and fulfilling moments in a while over the course of this year, but the other side of my brain can’t stop thinking of how this year has been the most scary, challenging and full of uncertainty I’ve lived so far. But here I am, embracing both sides of it and reflecting on how music helped me to keep on going, to keep pushing and to be where I am right now. As usual, this countdown is not intended to be one of those Pitchfork lists where they rate music based on subjective “quality” or “talent”, and instead, it’s a little homage to the records that personally, inspired me and gave me something to look up to.
So hopefully, some of you may find some cool tunes out of it, that will serve you as a light to keep that fire burning inside of you, just as they did with me.
