Lucky Girl Mag

Lucky Girl is my heartfelt tribute to the 90s Riot grrrl subculture, an ode to the fierce spirit of feminism, and an exploration of the female experience. Fuelled by my deep passion for women's rights, each issue of the publication unveils an intimate portrayal of my own experiences, as well as those of my friends and family.

Through candid interviews and evocative visuals, the zines capture the essence of a former era, celebrating empowerment, sisterhood, and the unapologetic handmade rebellion that defined the Riot grrrl movement. With each issue, I aim to refocus the plight of activism and offer a space for voices that demand to be heard. This project is both a personal journey and a collective statement, bridging the past and the present to inspire and empower the next generation of feminists.
