Tea Branding Design
This packaging design was developed as a solution to transform a brand with unsustainable practices into an eco-friendly brand. I used Lipton Tea’s unsustainable practices to create a socially responsible brand. Throughout the transformation, it was essential to ensure that the shift in brand identity is a viable business option. Through avid market research about the increasing popularity of speciality teas, in younger generations I chose to change the brand's base consumer. I felt that this market was undercapitalised and knew if I created a product that fit these gaps the business would be sure to succeed.
I then transformed Lipton, a brand known for selling regular black tea into a luxury tea house who focuses on sustainability. I made the packaging minimal while still having a creative edge to allow interest from the younger generations. I also used keywords like luxury, rich and enhanced to help develop the brand story. And further cement the new base consumer.
