Ransomware Report Data Breach Illustration Collage Report Cover

I created a design for a ransomware report cover. However, it was deemed "too cute" and off-brand, and therefore not shown to the client. The design is now in the graveyard. To make sure the intended client is not revealed, I changed the brand colors and other key elements.

Would you like to work with me? If so, please contact DC&Co, the agency I work for, to discuss your next project.

This illustration features:

  • Cascading warning boxes, a call back to window PC in the 90s/2000s.

  • It's a sneaky email that's actually spam or phishing.

  • A part of scissors cutting the line from the phishing scammer to someone's laptop device.

  • A Y2K style curser of finger-pointing, which is a head nod to click-bate scams.

  • The "phishing rod."

  • A padlock is the ultimate cyber security icon, like it or not😅

  • Password that is exposed or no longer protected

  • A fingerprint for extra security

  • A laptop with a "bug" and "hacker" stickers on the front

  • A server with a virus or a bug that's about to crash

  • A mobile device that appears to be in incognito mode, but who knows anymore...

  • The trusty cyber security shield with a check, so you know it's good. 😉

  • Last but not least, a firewall.

The colors are just cyber-punky, as they are no longer brand-specific.

I know there are a lot of cliches in here, but by stylizing them, I thought it could bring some attention and energy to what was a stat-heavy document.
