Battery cages are the cage that made by wire frame with a small area just enough for hens to lay the egg. Therefore, the design of the container imitates the look of the battery cage. Wire mesh and metallic card stock are the main material used for this packaging. This is to create the metallic feeling of the battery cage.

As the product is set to be an organic egg, people will start wondering why organic and yet the eggs are being locked inside a cage. This is actually a sarcasm design where the eggs that being locked in the cage need consumer to release them in order to be organic eggs. A tear-off label is designed to create the sense of release.
