St. John's Cathedral

St. John's Cathedral. 914 St. John Street, Lafayette, Louisiana. Opened in 1916.

This Roman Catholic Cathedral, originally called l'Église St-Jean du Vermilion was founded in 1821, making it the first church in Lafayette Parish.

The church, which was finished in 1916, now includes a museum with memorabilia of the parish and Cathedral.
