Transitions rebound ("My Space")

I've been revisiting the original clipping animation I wanted recently. I tried a variety of ways to achieve it without using `clip`, like maybe using psuedo elements to hide, or messing with `width`, but still no luck.

I wasn't happy with the replacement transition I had up originally, so I did this instead. Liked that there's depth even though it still has the same flatness.
