Side project logo contruction

Had to go back to the drawing board after Pearson Education rebranded (their new logo looks nearly identical to the Progressive Punctuation logo I uploaded back in September, hmm): http://www.underconsideration.com/brandnew/archives/new_logo_and_identity_for_pearson_by_together_design.php

It's tough to properly judge my revision without context but hopefully it'll all make sense when the scope of the project is announced. Feedback is welcomed, encouraged, and greatly appreciated.
