Material Hierarchy

This is a material design documentation piece for a side project I'm working on.

This shot roughly outlines the material design hierarchy of the physical properties of a particular layer, which replaces the need for the traditional "modal" overlay approach.

The idea being, when the user needs to manually enter information, this additional hidden layer sweeps up from the base and presents the relevant input fields which need to be filled in before they can proceed.

I haven't taken the time to put the "Login" or "Cancel" buttons on additional layers, simply because of time constraints. Perhaps I will edit this in the future - who knows!
