Christmas Squid

A segment from a holiday postcard/poster that I designed recently. It's a depiction of the Christmas Squid; a character that I invented several years ago that is the story of a leviathan who comes to love Christmas so much that he takes it under his wing to provide the people with gifts and joy. But in order to do so he must raise the water levels causing a flood. Also, the only gifts he has are those he can scavenge from the bottom of the ocean, so much of what he leaves is gross, destructive or non-sensible.
