Sketch Symbol Override Example

An example of how I've been building UI symbols in Sketch with masking and nested objects.

I found that we were often making brand/color decisions after much of the design had already been done. So I started using this technique to give myself the ability to update or add a color if needed.

I also found this to be a great method for using a single symbol for many different purposes. Download the source file to see how I set it up: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OXowGBGurJW08JsVlxN8vWcsoiL0T-Ox/view?usp=sharing

The font is IBM's Plex Mono, and can be downloaded here: https://github.com/IBM/plex/releases/tag/v1.0.2
