HUMAN is an amazing documentary, that makes us perceive humanity and the world surrounding in a new way. The magnificent footage and the meaning of the movie encouraged me to design a concept of a website. In intention, this website would promote the movie, and the main goal was to bring the story of the heroes and locations closer to the visitors.
In order for this project to be created, I developed an idea for a website, I did research on the movie and materials accessibility, I designed an information architecture as well as interface design & motion. I wanted the website to take on a minimal, but unconventional form, therefore, I decided to arrange the design on the golden ratio grid and to experiment with it. To provide the website character and smoothness, I also created animations. I wanted the content from the movie to play a key role, that is why design and animations should not overwhelm the website.
