Young Archaeologist and Explorer Society - Shrine Sketch

Some sketches for the Young Archaeologist and Explorer Society map. These were created using actual images of Egyptian artifacts, but designed to look like something you could find in an archaeologist’s journal.

Because we wanted to make this experience accessible and approachable to all our young guests, we built in recommendations from the Exhibit Design for Girls' Engagement research study from the Exploratorium (San Francisco). These sketches were purposeful additions to bring the piece alive with color and to enhance the hand-made quality.
