Inktober 2018: Chicken Hand

For day 5, chicken was the theme. I took a motion from American Sign Language. The pinching forms the beak.

I'm very happy with how this one turned out; the fingers on the original sketch turned out super well IMHO. Still exploring finger nail stylings (playing with the transparency effect).

For Inktober 2018, I'm going to practice illustration tactile-style first. In the spirit of the event, I'll ink the drawings first before vectorizing.

To constrain my ideas, I'm going to further theme the prompts as all being expressions of hands. I love hands; they're supremely expressive yet difficult to draw.
