Waterfall Blog Layout

Designing something and having it work programmatically can be two different things. The challenge with this design was to create a waterfall grid that would flow as symmetrically as possible.

To accomplish this I programmed a function to count the character length of the titles and to display an excerpt based on this character count. The result - a fluid design with a close-to-rigid grid.
