M ~ Mary Anning

Mary Anning, dubbed the “Princess of Paleontology,” discovered the first complete ichthyosaur skeleton ever found. She went on to discover 3 complete skeletons before the age of 30. Despite her accomplishments, as a woman, she was not allowed to publish her work and her name would be edited out of all findings. Though she got no credit, she continued her research and introduced us to the age of the reptiles.
