Failure Gigposter Sacramento

I am super psyched and really proud to present my poster for tonight’s Failure show with Swervedriver in Sacramento. I really went full on at this one since I’ve been a fan of #Failure for like 20+ years now. I was really inspired by the idea (as I have been for a while) of creating a #starship that looks a little “wrong”. Asymmetrical, rigged together off-balance as if it’s been built up from disparate non-matching parts over time. I was also feeling this from a more Jodorowskys Dune place as well in that I wanted it to look a bit surreal, exaggerated in places and restrained in others. This one has it all: exploding stars, mechanized atmosphere processors, loaders pulling things off a fantastical planets surface, a massive, crumbling monument to an alien of some species or other, planets aligning and eclipsing each other.
This is an 18x24 inch 3 color screenprint in a run limited to 50 and you can get them at the show tonight at @aceofspadessac and if you can’t get one there I’ll be offering AP prints (including a de limited and I mean LIMITED) foil variant prints (which you can swipe through for video of. They are gorgeous) at www.decabet.com tomorrow. Also the good people at Nakatomi Inc (who also did the managing and printing of this series) will have them up for sale too.
